Sophie Vause
Junior Research Associate
Biography
My name is Sophie Vause, and I am currently a third year BSc Biomedical Science student at The University of Sussex. I am currently a Junior Research Associate at BSMS. I am working on developing an in vitro model of an Acute Myeloid Leukaemia cancer microenvironment, which can then be used to understand the signalling between cancer and stromal cells and its role in chemoresistance. This project allows me to learn from and work alongside other researchers and clinicians. This is the first step in my career and will increase my chances of successfully obtaining the future in research that I am striving for.
